STORY ILLUSTRATIONS

Intended for young audience of 6 and above, this children’s book was written in a group under 10 minutes. The goal was to quickly make up a simple story that a 6 year old could understand. After creating the story, each member was assigned to create his or her own characters and book illustrations. Using watercolours, an underwater theme was created with the main character illustrated as an octopus, a cat as a catfish and the cat owner as a mermaid. The aim was to not illustrate what the sentence reads but to think outside the box and create scenes that would happen in between the story.
